Representative social contribution activity

The Company-wide Relay Volunteer Program is Daewoo E&C's signature social contribution activity. Through activities such as "fixing houses"
for the descendants of independent fighters and "improving the living environment" for the vulnerable in Seoul, we aim to deliver the value of
a comfortable life to more people.
We also regularly visit and share with local welfare facilities and conduct environmental cleanup activities at our domestic sites.

Public-Private cooperation project for housing
safetyin SeoulDaewoo E&C, in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Habitat Korea, has supported the installation of disaster prevention facilities and customized house repairs to some households since 2022 as a pilot project to support the vulnerable (semi-underground flooding damage). Since 2023, with the participation of the Korea Housing Construction Association, the scope of support projects such as elderly care and child rearing has been expanded to contribute to the local community.

Activities to improve the residential environment
of descendants of independence fightersIt is a relay volunteer activity involving various groups such as new employees,
CEO, Jungheung Group, regional on-site employees and university student
ambassadors, and supports the renovation of seven houses every year.

Employees’ coins donation activitiesWe collect coins of less than 1,000 won from our monthly salary and use the fund for neighbors in need. The fundraising activity fund, which has been implemented since 2007, supports damage caused by various natural disasters and provides emergency relief for disasters.

Blood donation campaignIn order to contribute to improving the supply of blood in Korea, the company has been conducting a "blood donation campaign" involving its headquarters and domestic field executives and employees since 2006.
We are increasing participation by donating blood or blood donation cards directly, and we plan to continue to carry out life-sharing activities that can lead the spread of the blood donation culture.

Environmental improvement activities for
small businesses stores in college towns. Along with the university student ambassador (Dae Dae-hong), we carried out store environment improvement activities for small business owners in college struggling due to the spread of COVID-19, creating a rebranding effect of the store. Daewoo E&C and Dae Dae-hong will continue to expand win-win activities with their neighbors and communities.

Donation to the scholarship foundationStarting with a scholarship fund donation to the Sky Love Scholarship Foundation, we are planning to continue to promote social contribution activities related to education. Founded in 2010, the Sky Love Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships every year to help the children of deceased pilots who have devoted themselves to protecting the Korean sky grow into great talents with pride in their spirit of sacrifice.
